2011's, 1920 Style Hat

So we recently just finished getting everything for school. Sneakers , Back packs , lunch boxes, notebooks - you name it! My kids start school right after this holiday weekend (sorry , Im abut 2 days late posting this) and yes , I am counting the minuets!! But this Mom decided to get something for herself this school year.
I was recently visiting my other home town; Boston. At least 2 times a year I go up there to see all my college friends who are now my extended family. We've all been close for over 20yrs - so yeah - that's family to me.
Anyway, I passed a super cool hat shop while walking around town up there and I couldn't miss the chance to walk in. The name of the company is Goorin . And Their quality is top notch , which might be why their hats are a bit pricey; But a good hat in the wardrobe is worth it in my book!
We had so much fun in their shop trying on all kinds of hats.
Below is a picture of me and my great friend Kelly playing with some hat styles.

Bad Quality because its a phone photo , but we were havin fun!
When you check out of this store you get this really great designed tissue paper and a great reusable mesh bag!! OK, I am just loving it all!!!!
Of course my other half looked at me funny when I told him "I want to save the tissue paper to do something with it".  - BLOGGERS!!! can you hear me????, you know you would save it too. Its got some great graphics on it!!
I dare you to try and tell me it is not THEY perfect winter hat! At least that's what I though!!
Its got that old 1920 -1930 style to it as one side sits a bit lower than the other.
And I love its cute understated bow! Its perfect for me! I really don't like anything too frilly.
Its 100 wool so my my little head will be warm and man does it have style!!!
I am swooning over it and can't wait to wear it in my little suburban town.

I think I'm certainly going to get some comments on it!

So here's to a little something for the Mom of this house as the school year begins!
I'll be walking out this winter with one sweet hat!

Your new hat is adorable! I love the vintage style. If only hat wearing season weren't just around the corner (says the summer loving girl).
