So lets start where anyone would - the front yard! First you come upon a long driveway which seems to only lead into the woods but....
The closer you get to the bottom you can start to see the house peek out and say hello.
Below is the bottom of the driveway where you can see the house and its walkway.
AND - the fish pond. My kids love feeding the fish!
To the left of the walkway you hear a steady slow waterfall. I love how it looks natural with overgrown Hostas hiding all the made made work. Doesn't it look as if that waterfall was there since time began? Well made not since time began , but you know what I mean! Its natural looking.
And to the right you can see the pond, Which had had one of the hugest Koi fish I have ever seen. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good picture of him. He kept swimming away from me.
Here is another picture of the pond below. Isn't the little fairy on the rock cute?! I like her! And I like the chair on the other side. It just calls you to sit down and relax!
Behind the pond you can see her shed. Yes the shed is in the front yard. That might sound weird but for this property it seems to work. You can see a glimpse of it behind those weeping evergreen branches.
Here is a better shot of the shed. I like how the shed is green making it blend into all the green in the landscape. Again keeping it natural.
Here's a last one looking up the driveway to the street.
Its all landscaping made to look like it was all naturally there and coherent with the woodland surroundings this house is in. Not something we see everyday in our neighborhood so its nice to visit every now and then and take in some nature but eventually I itch for suburbia and the city.
How about you; are you a nature person or a city person?

This yard is incredible! Your friend must work really hard to maintain it.
